Synopsis

AS IT WAS IN THE BEGINNING! On a snowy winter night, Daredevil is sitting on a rooftop contemplating how to protect his secret identity when the murderous Starr Saxon, who DD recently let escape, knows that he is really Matt Murdock. DD can't help but feel the answer is rooted in his past somehow, bound in the origin of Daredevil. The rest of the issue is a retelling of Daredevil's origin story as illustrated in Daredevil #1. Once DD has completed reminiscing about the past, he thinks of the times when he's wondered whether Matt Murdock was real or just a figment of Daredevil's imagination. Suddenly he realises he's found his answer. His problem has never been Daredevil but Matt Murdock - the blind, helpless invalid! Thus Daredevil decides Matt Murdock should no longer exist!
